Profound Disappointment - A Review of Riverfront Resort Chitrakoot Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ (1/5) My recent stay at Riverfront Resort Chitrakoot was nothing short of a profound disappointment. It is with a heavy heart that I write this review, as my expectations were shattered during my time at this establishment. From the moment we checked in, my family and I were met with a lackluster and unwelcoming atmosphere. The receptionist's attitude set the tone for our entire stay, and it was nothing short of disheartening. Instead of the warm hospitality one expects, we were treated with indifference and a lack of interest in our well-being. Despite extending our stay, there was no effort from the staff to make us feel valued as guests. The entire experience was characterized by the recitation of policies rather than genuine care for our comfort and satisfaction. We were left disheartened by the complete absence of hospitality. Dining at the resort was equally disheartening. On a day when the restaurant was far from busy, the chef failed to provide any assistance or recommendations, leaving us to fend for ourselves. This lack of engagement and support further contributed to our disappointment. Our room also had its share of issues, including a significant AC leakage that not only disrupted our comfort but also raised concerns about safety and maintenance. The disheartening realization that these issues were not promptly addressed left us feeling neglected and unimportant. To add to our disappointment, the water bottles were not adequately replenished in our room the next morning. When we raised this concern with the receptionist, we were met with the audacity of being told that this was not in line with the hotel's policies. This lack of basic courtesy and service left us deeply disheartened. In summary, my stay at Riverfront Resort Chitrakoot was profoundly disappointing. The indifference, unwelcoming attitude, and lack of hospitality, especially from the receptionist, made our experience disheartening from start to finish. This is not what one expects when staying at a resort. I sincerely hope that the management takes these concerns seriously and strives to provide a more welcoming and hospitable environment for future guests.
