Worst people ever! I checked in without checking the reviews. The staff are very rude and money minded. They don’t allow outside foods and the food in the restaurant of theirs are so worst in taste. DO NOT CHECK IN. They ask us to give extra money even when it’s booked online. Worst customer service ever! They ruined the image of Chennai itself as my stay was a nightmare. I will think it million times to stay anywhere in Chennai because of this experience. BAD BAD BAD

Confirmed booking via goibbo and prepaid for 2 days for my parents and me. But the guy in the reception( calling himself as owner of the property) cancelled the booking stating that he is not interested taking low cost booking from goibbo and also won't be able to provide extra bed. But before booking called oyo platform and confirmed, extra bed option available.He is very rude and spoke in a disrespected way. He is telling you booked the room in low cost I won't give the room even without extra bed. At last at 9 pm we searched near by area for another room with heart patient. Don't ever book this hotel it's not safety to stay. since he doesn't care about anything. My question is then why this hotel still in the goibbo list since so many of them like me facing the same issue. From my end I didn't checked the review properly before booking and really afraid of his behaviour. I don't even not interested to give 1 star but there is no option for zero.

I went to this property( Welcome Inn, Spartan Nagar, Anna Nagar) for checkin but they didn’t accept my booking. The reason they told was low tariff of oyo. But the before day when I asked the reception they asked me to come, but at the time of check in they denied. It was very bad behaviour from the receptionist too. The receptionist told he will give the room and suddenly he denied. They asked me to pay two times of oyo price, so I denied. I kindly don’t recommend this property and not worth the money.

The rooms were really nice but I would not say top tier. The receptionist was really friendly and helpful the room was comfortable and not too shabby. I really enjoyed the stay but For the amount that you are paying I think the rooms could be a little more better force wear broken and the fossils were not maintained properly and there were no exhaust fans. They also provide a good food facility which arrives on time in reasonable price and good taste and and quality the hotel is very easy to locate and check in process is also very very easy I would really recommend this hotel for any couples stay or even a family stay

Don't book rooms in this Oyo township. Worst staff behaviour, reception people cheat us scaming that they didn't receive confirmation, and we are forced to actually book a different room and pay 2600 rupees but actually through oyo it's around 1500 only.. We had come after a long travel and didn't even allow the women in the family to refresh. Complete inhuman treatment. They don't really follow ethics. They are just using Oyo platform to divert crowd to their rooms by charging low price, then in real time when you reach there, they twist and turn all possible ways to charge way more than what they actually quote.. Really irritating personalities in reception. What are they taught as humans I don't know? Please don't even hesitate to file a complaint against them in oyo customer service.
