Tumsong Tea Retreat

Tumsong Tea Retreat is a paradise for people who love visiting off beat locations. If you want to bask in between a beautiful tea garden, overlooking the mesmerizing Kanchenjunga Peak, then this is the place you definitely should visit. All the staff members were extremely hospitable and made us feel like home. The food is lip smacking, ranging from English breakfast to an authentic Indian lunch, where most of the ingredients were grown in their property garden. The rooms are magnificent, giving you a colonial vibe. I think it is worth the money paid. The only think that bothered me was the approaching road. The owners of the property should wake up and build a safe road. I think it is the staff members, who work till their best capabilities to make your stay memorable. Also, the other people complaining about the distance, should know that you will obviously not get the peace and rest if you stay somewhere close to touristy places.

Absolutely great experience. It was lovely ambience. Would definitely love to go back. With family members for vacation. Food is nice there aswel. Would be recommending this place
