Review I booked two rooms to stay with my family. This place is supposed to be 3 star, but its nowhere close. Tldr: The hotel was a letdown. Despite being advertised as 3-star, it was nowhere near that. The rooms smelled bad and were dirty, we had to change rooms three times, and the bathrooms were a mess. On top of that, the room doors didn't lock properly, and the overall maintenance was poor. The hotel tried to pass off leftovers as a "complimentary" late dinner, but even this gesture couldn’t save the experience. They’re overcharging for what is actually offered, not reflecting the beautiful tourist spot it's in. I’ll start with pros. The staff is helpful. They try to fulfil the request. That’s it. Now cons: We had to switch rooms 3 times in 2 days. The experience was bad at most of the stages. As we entered the rooms we had booked, there was a very foul smell. The rooms were also not too clean. We couldn’t stand the smell and asked to shift the rooms. They promptly moved us to other rooms by the pool. But we had the same issue in these rooms as well. But there were many problems: 1. Washrooms: 1. No cleanliness. 2. Foul smell in washrooms. 3. The flush was leaking, and water was all over the floor and caused serious falling risk in the morning. 4. The wash basins were not cleaned. 5. Soap had rat bite marks. 6. There was no electricity in the morning when we had to take a shower. 7. The commodes in every washroom were permanently yellow. 2. The door of the room didn’t close properly. When told about this problem, someone just came to check it, tried to convince us that it’s fine, but when we did not agree they just said that we couldn’t do anything about it. They said Sheesham wood expands during winter and also they had no other room they could move us to. This did not feel secure at all. They just asked us ‘not to worry’ which is not a solution. 3. We put a table against the door, but it was loose so it kept banging repeatedly due to the loud music that was playing. Luckily for us, we had our parents who locked our door from outside. 4. The first night, there was a corporate group staying and had buffet dinner. They called us at 11 PM asking if we wanted to have dinner and that it was complimentary from their end. In reality, the dinner timings are from around 7.30 pm to 10 pm. This was a very very cheap try at finishing up leftovers while trying to portray that they provide amazing service because they are offering free dinner. Who calls at 11 pm for this? 5. There was bird and rat poop all over the property floor. There was so much dust that it seemed like they had not cleaned it for a very long time. 6. The ‘lounge chairs’ outside rooms were extremely dirty and couldn’t use them. 7. The room floors had permanent water stains, seemed like never cleaned. 8. The cap of hot water kettle was broken. Overall, it’s not unliveable, but not at all worth the high price they charge. And not worth a 3-star rating at all. If the rates were half what we paid, it would still have been okay. They are just charging unnecessarily high prices, and not spending that towards maintaining the property which is a shame because if maintained, it could’ve been a pretty property. It is also smaller than how it looks in the pictures. They are located in Sariska and therefore benefitting from the tourist inflow without having to care about providing a good experience to the guest because they still get bookings at this level of service at such prices. Mostly because the options here are limited and very costly.
