Indeed it was a pleasant stay. The rooms were reasonable, clean and spacious. The owner and staff were very cooperative and friendly from booking till check out. Food was simple yet delicious. They were very helpful while planning a tour.

My recent stay at this resort was a delightful experience with a few nuances. The location was nothing short of amazing, nestled in a village with breathtaking views of the Narmada River nearby. However, reaching the resort proved challenging due to the poorly maintained roads leading up to it. Once inside, the rooms exceeded expectations, offering comfort with clean sheets and pillows. The panoramic views from the rooms were awe-inspiring, and the pool added a refreshing touch to the overall ambiance. Exploring the village and its surroundings proved to be a pleasant way to spend time, and the night brought the charm of a captivating campfire. While the food leaned towards the distinct taste of Gujarat, which might not be everyone's preference, the breakfast spread was nothing short of amazing. The staff and locals were friendly, adding warmth to the atmosphere. Being from central India, I appreciated the cultural differences in cuisine. In essence, despite the minor road hiccup and culinary distinctions, the overall experience was genuinely memorable, making it a place worth considering for those seeking a unique and enriching getaway.

Overall the stay was ok but few points which were not not liked, - Towels are of the worst quality better to carry your own - There were some or other issues in the washrooms which we stayed. There are showers but water pressure is low so of no use - You cannot travel on your own in late evening as it's in the very interior. Otherwise a good stay the people are helpful and if budget is concern then can be opted but keeping above points in mind

I visited Vasant vihar resort in month of Oct 2023. Below are my reviews cons - 1. Owner is very gentle man, He is very polite and treats everybody with great care. He is open for suggestions. 2. Location is good, Between the nature ,away from daily chores. 3. food served is home based food, though they have fix menu. 4. Good for Family. Pros (Suggestions) 1.There should be sign board for easy approach. 2. Swimming pool should be clean early in the morning. 3. Reception should be constructed. 4. More food options. 5. Basic maintenance of washroom is required. Overall i will rate 4.5/5.

“Must Read Before Booking:” Unless you're on a tight budget and don't mind subpar conditions, avoid this homestay. It's not a resort experience and cleanliness is a major issue. There are better options out there. This is NOT a resort, it's a homestay with unprofessional staff (teenagers from the village) who have no idea about hospitality. Owners live on-site but don't seem to care about cleanliness, a frequent complaint in reviews. We had to constantly request basic amenities like soap, clean sheets, and floor sweeping. Bathrooms are dirty and lack proper hot water, showers are unusable. Spiderwebs everywhere! Washbasin is in the room, not the bathroom. No room service, kitchen serves mostly frozen/precooked food. Breakfast is a formality. Why Stay Here (Only if...): Cleanliness doesn't matter to you. You're on a shoestring budget (it's cheap). New construction means things are at least initially pleasant. You're okay with frozen food. Child labor doesn't bother you. You desperately need a pool filled with questionable groundwater. To the Owners: Read your reviews! Train your staff or hire a manager. Cleanliness is non-negotiable. Get on it! Put light switches and plugs where guests expect them, not across the room. Address the spiderweb infestation! A good cleaning goes beyond sweeping floors.
