The property is not as in the pictures. Dirty and stinky hole. The owner and his friends are hanging out all day in the common areas, playing loud music.One of them is right next to the private room we had booked. They also sleep overnight in the couches. Really felt anti-hygienic. What is worst is that they make you leave your shoes at the property entrance, where a female cat with her kittens is hanging out. Then you must step on a nasty carpet to come in. We had booked the private double room for two nights, and a few minutes at the property was enough for us to know we would not stay long. Unfortunately we arrived late in the evening so we had to stay one of the nights. We would have preferred to let go the non-refundable booking money and find a better place for day one. The day after we left. Side note: Hot water doesn't work.

Zostel Kochi was one of my best stays. Friendly staffs and warm environment welcomes you like no other. Met with a great set of amazing people! Extended my trip for another day just because of the people there. Had a beautiful time and the vibe was great. Great for those working remotely. Highly recommend!

We stayed at the hostel for 2 nights. It is located in a small alley close to the center of Fort Kochi. We were able to check into our room at 12AM, which was convenient. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room itself was clean and pretty. It was on the ground floor right next to a chillout area. Even though quiet time is 10PM people were chatting loudly until after 12AM, which was annoying considering we had to get up at 5AM for our flight.

Small hostel with dorms and individual rooms with un suite. Rooms are tidy not the cleanest but it's a hostel, the location and price point you cannot fault it's only 15mins walk to all major attractions. If you plan to sleep on your stay then don't stay here it's a party hostel so people stay awake most of the night till 4am shouting,screaming, smoking, and drinking, don't worry usually they stop around 4am.
