We would definitely recommend the 7 Tales Apartments. We stayed in Suite 12\Golem. It was central location and easy to walk to tour sites, shopping, restaurants. Our stay was 4 nights in October, so we could close the windows at night. There is street noise, that might bother light sleepers if the windows are open. Only negative is that we couldn't figure out how to use the washing machine (no instructions in apartment & desk clerk at hotel wasn't sure). We couldn't get the machine door open. She was willing to send maintenance but we passed because we didn't want to wait around for them. We would stay there again.

I had booked the superior deluxe room which was located on the first floor. I got in way earlier (8:30 am) than check in time but fortunately they were able to let me check in, which was probably the best part of my experience there. Once I got into the room it had a kind of dusty smell, which I can get over but then I saw really noticeable cobwebs at the tip of the window which made me wonder how thorough they clean each room. But the main reason I would not recommend this place to anyone is because there is pretty much no soundproofing of any type for the room I stayed at. The noise from the street was constantly loud (closing the windows did little) and given that the street is a busy tourist street that stays lively into the night didn't help. To make matters worse the young guys who were staying in the building across the narrow street were partying in their room at 3am and I was able to hear a lot of it throughout the night. Not only that the sound proofing between the hotel itself was also terrible. I could hear the people upstairs moving stuff around anytime they did so. The only reason I was able to get past the noise was because I was dead tired from a full days walk and jetlag. But I still would constantly get woken up in the middle of the night by noise. Oh yeah the lady at the front desk at the sister hotel had a terrible attitude.

Really cozy hotel right in the center of prague. Perfect location and very secure (You gotta enter the code 3 times to get to the room!!) There were some reviews about the noise during the night, but for me and my wife, it was super quiet all day. I think it might vary room by room since it’s located literally in the city center. (Our room was Studio room)
