Our visit started off very poorly. We arrive late at night in the middle of a rain storm. We watch the bell hop just watch us as we unload our car and not even make a move to open the door for us until my mother shoots him a very dirty look, at which point he finally gets up to hold the door open for us. Once in, he offers to take the bags, but there's no way we'd be looking to tip him after that so we declined. Next, we find that they don't offer valet parking and that their garage is closed even though my mother had called to inquire about the parking earlier and no mention was made about the lack of valet or hours that the garage is closed. The room was similarly disappointing. Poorly appointed with very old furnishings. Our bathroom was so small and narrow that we were forced to turn sideways and slide in. If you're not a fan of water pressure or temperatures that exceed tepid, then you'll enjoy your showering experience here. Seriously, if you try to take a shower between the hours of 8 and 11, prepare for a medium drizzle of slightly warm water that will leave you shivering and desperate to towel off as quickly as possible. We also noticed that they had neglected to provide us with soap and conditioner in the shower and had to call down for that. On the plus side, the front desk was very responsive to our needs. When we called to notify them of the missing shower products or requested additional waters, the front desk immediately had them sent up. The hotel was in a convenient location for us allowing us to enjoy activities, restaurants, etc. all over the city.

My husband and I recently stayed at this lovely hotel for 10 nights. I have no complaints! The hotel was absolutely beautiful, the lobby, the rooms, the entrance, etc. our room and bathroom were very spacious much to our surprise. We had a lovely view. The cleaning service was on top of our room every single day. We were so pleased with absolutely everything. Edward and Howard were very kind to us. We appreciate them so much! The doorman always went the extra mile, and was so friendly and helpful. The hotel was perfect, the location was perfect, and we would most definitely stay there again, and we plan to. Also, my husband used the gym almost every morning and enjoyed it as well. I would highly recommend this hotel! I would give it 10 stars if I could.

Room is very small, 2 queen size bed, but could accommodate 2 each. Foe family i would recommend a bigger room. Old building and tidy and clean.. No parking and you could park nearby around $70 for 24 hrs. No privilege for in/out. So if you have a car park it ans leave it. 15 mins walk to time square and the way to stunning and beautiful.
