Tragedy of an hotel. The water in the shower was not working for all the 3 days (not even cold, nothing). Cleaning was also quite "fast" I guess, since I found a piece of nail on the carpet and the towels had some really not nice "brown shadows" on them. Also in the shower, if it worked, it was put mistaken the hand soap instead of body/hair soap. I don't really know how much they paid for getting 4 stars and the award of "best hotel of the year", because the experience is almost like an hostel. Pity because the rooms are nice and beautiful to see, but if it is not possible to even have a shower that is really bad

The room is clean and the beds are comfortable — but that does qualify to make my stay enjoyable. When I checked in, the room was really cold. Furthermore, there was no hot water in the shower. Initially I thought I didn’t know how to turn on the heat and the shower. But, after calling the reception and them coming to the room to check it, they confirmed that indeed something was wrong with the room. Thankfully they gave me another room. But shifting to another room was a bit inconvenient considering that I had to go downstairs multiple times to get the key and to return the old one. Additionally, for the price I paid, I expected a bit of basic amenity, like a kettle perhaps. However, no amenities as such were in the room. When I asked for one, I had to again go down to the reception to take it, instead of the kettle being delivered to the room. But, lo and behold, the kettle didn’t work! I didn’t bother to inform the reception anymore. The next day I called again for a new kettle but the kettle never came. I waited for half an hour, before finally giving up. Another thing about this hotel is that you need to inform the reception (I guess before 8?) to get your rooms cleaned and tidied up. I did just that and they noted that my room needs to be cleaned. However after a long day of exploring Munich, I was really disappointed to come back to my room the way that I left it — an unmade bed and wet towels. Anyway, goggle rates it as a 4 star. The reality is otherwise. Will not recommend it.

I would like to strongly advise everyone not to stay in this hotel under any circumstances! Hotel service/staff very unprofessional and very aggressive (especially at breakfast, where there were not even plates, not to mention missing food) The staff shouted at us that if we don't like it, we should go somewhere else, they say Munich is full of hotels. And I'm not exaggerating, they really shouted out loud! There was no hot water. At all. For three days, they kept repeating excuses to us, that it hopefully will be fixed. I didn't want to hear this again and again, so after three days without shower, we moved to another hotel. I never want to see this one again, worst hotel in my life!!!

When I had to find a hotel a bit last minute for business I found this lovely little hotel online. Absolutely fabulous for what I wanted and was really convenient being right next to the Ubahn. The room was great for the price compared to other cities (considering most were also booked up for Oktoberfest!!) and next time I’m in Munich I’ll definitely book this one with colleagues. The staff and reception area was very welcoming. I didn’t have breakfast as I’m one of those annoying vegans so chose to eat at elsewhere. There is current construction work going on over the road which I guess some would find annoying as it starts early but you’d expect plenty of noise in a city.
