The experience was wonderful, my family and I had booked an amazing tour guide who had explained all the history behind the temples and gods. It was a bit overcrowded, however, we were still able to find shade and move around comfortably.

Absolutely amazing! We were in awe to see remnants of old architecture still standing tall. The scaffolding is a shame but needed to preserve such an incredible history. The place is absolutely incredible and has a nice view too!! Do wear some comfortable shoes as you will have to walk up.

If you are in Athens, this is definitely a must. I visited in November so it wasn’t as busy, easily one of my highlights in Athens. Highly recommend. The views from the top are also beautiful.

Went in October so not sure if this is the case for summer but we booked the tickets online in the morning because it looked really busy. From 9-12 it’s pretty packed but we found that anytime after that there were basically no queues so recommend going around that time. Took a good two hours to walk around and there was plenty of information but would recommend going to the museum before hand to get a full history of the monument.
