Aeolos Luxury Suites

We really enjoyed our stay at AD Athens. The service we received was excellent, from the front desk to the rooftop dining area - everyone was friendly and helpful. The room was quite comfortable - nice mattress (not too firm, not too soft), comfortable bedding, various outlets, different lighting options, space for our luggage to be off the floor, seating space, all very easy to settle into. I hesitated on giving the room itself 5-stars for only 1 reason, but it's a fairly minor reason. The bathroom was comfortable and spacious and did provide privacy to the rest of the room. However, there was no space around the sink to be able to set much of anything. In the room we had, we had to set things on a little narrow ledge along the wall, a bit away from the sink. This was really the only negative. We worked around it though. When staying here, you must go up to the rooftop to enjoy their brunch. It offers several Greek pastries, yogurt with fixings, meats/cheeses/nuts, etc. And the coffee is wonderful. It was a nice way to start each day. And I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the incredible view of the Acropolis & Parthenon while you're sitting there enjoying your breakfast. Just splendid. In addition, just around the block is the entrance to the Acropolis, The Acropolis Museum, lots of tourist ships, and several wonderful restaurants. (We really enjoyed dinner at Arcadia!)
