16th century building, rooms are tiny, but everything is there: ac, TV, bath, seif, mini fridge w/bottle water. Very close to train station. But 1 hour from st.Marco square on foot. Water taxi will come to the hotel. Water bus 150 meters (`400-450 ft) to walk.

So the room was a little cramped and the fixtures were a little old. The bed was a genuine double with shared sheets/blanket, rather than two twins, which makes it a little awkward to share the bed with a person you're not in a relationship with. Breakfast costs extra (just go to a coffee shop, they're so cheap around here). But the price is good, and the location is nice and convenient to the train station and a big vaporetto stop (close enough that you can generally just follow "train station" signs to get here) while not being too far from the Rialto/generally tourist parts of Venice. Note that front desk stuff is generally handled at the Ca'Nigra hotel across the square.

Very nice hotel close to trainstation, about 5 till 10 minutes walk. Chech in at the neigbour hotel called Ca'Nigra Lagoon Resort. Very nice service there, friendly and good service, breakfast was very good also. The room had everything you need, clean and a great view over the piazza. Also a few steps up to a terrazza for realaxing. Only minus is the bathroom, is very cramped. And yes I would stay here again 👍👍👍😊

We booked this hotel on credit card points and weren't too sure what to expect. We were very pleased by this lovely hotel! Our room overlooked a quiet square (San Simeon) with a clear view of the canal. The location is very central and within walking distance to some lovely bars, cafes, and restaurants, but it is protected from the noise and the hustle and bustle of the more touristy areas, which was great for sleeping. The hotel is located within easy walking distance of the train and bus stations, which was very convenient. There were no staff on site at the hotel while we were staying (I think because it wasn't yet peak season), so the check in and check out was done at the sister hotel just across the square (Ca 'Nigra Lagoon Hotel). Service there was friendly, prompt, and efficient. The rooms was clean and bright and the windows opened to allow for a nice breeze. Towels, toiletries (shampoo, soap, body wash), and a hair dryer were provided. Our shower door leaked a little bit, but there were no mold or moisture problems - for an old/historic building, it was very well maintained. I am only removing one star as the rooftop terrace was not open during our stay, and we had been looking forward to enjoying our breakfast/coffee up there. I would absolutely stay here again!
