Great location but this is a 3 star hotel. Don't expect 4 star amenities. Some things you can expect: 1) tiny lift 2) service staff trying to sell hop on hop off package 3) take a flight of stairs down from the street to reach the lobby (with your luggage) 4) tiny room Generally still fine if you manage your expectations; just not a 4 star hotel

The breakfast was very rich and varied, the coffee was one of the best I've had at any hotel, the room is spacious, clean, with a very well equipped bathroom and the staff is very friendly who offered us 30 % discount at various museums/activities in Rome, plus they recommended a restaurant where they made a reservation for us. The location is a 15-20 minute walk to Via del Corso which is the main street in Rome. Next to the hotel, 200 meters (5 minutes away) is a patisserie that is open until late in the evening where it is worth stopping to taste their varied assortments. We will gladly return to this hotel in the future.

Tiny rooms. Terrible shower. Cleaning service daily was terrible, made bed and changed towels, nothing else done. Breakfast was a crowded room with plastic seats offering a shocking buffet. Tried to charge us €50 a night for a cot when they had already agreed to give free. No bar, no room service. Very rude woman on reception. Italian Guy during day was very pleasant. The price is disgusting for the quality. The only and I truly mean ONLY good thing is location.

The staff were all very nice and tried their best to assist with all our concerns. I believe some were out of their control, however there were just too many things going on for us to leave a better review. We arrived around 2pm. There was only one staff present who could not check us in nor could she speak English. We later found out that the receptionist will only be back around 3pm. By then all we could do was wait around. Upon check in we realised that our room had ants. We raised this to the staff and they told us that they will inform the cleaning staff. However, the ants were always present during our 5 days there. The wifi was down during the first few days. The staff mentioned that due to the recent rains and thunderstorms some of their routers had been damaged. Luckily we still had roaming on our phones - and yet - the connectivity from the room was terrible and we still could not get reception! Every time we were in the room it felt like we were in the dark ages. I actually had to talk to my roommate. Finally do note that the hotel is up a slight cobbled hill. This is of no fault of the hotel’s but you may have to plan in advance for carrying your luggages. Aside from that the location was great. Picture is that of the Quattro Fontane which is nearby and worth a quick pitstop.
