Beautifully designed spacious rooms with great attention to details. Bed was super comfortable! We just loved it and hope to be back. Darren is a great host, very professional and knowledgeable about his town. Breakfast was made to order and very good.

Stayed for 4 nights in October 2021. A wonderful guest house, everything was perfect. Darren was a lovely host and the Covid protocols that were in place made everything feel safe and incredibly clean. Loved the little touches like home baked goods in the rooms. They accommodated my mum's gluten free diet with no issues at all. Breakfast was perfect and I liked being able to order it the day before.. Just a 10 minute walk to the main city centre as well.

Excellent communication and personalised service. Room neat as a pin and personalised breakfast. Very helpful host, great location, within walking distance of cathedral and centre. For me, the shower was a bit too weak but this is individual and may be absolutely fine for others. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

Me and my partner stayed here for a night. It was a spotlessly clean room with two single beds, great bathroom and selection of towels. My only gripe with the room was that the room we stayed in faced directly onto the neighboring windows, in which there was a man working during the day, this was fairly awkward to manage. The host was extremely helpful and had lots of knowledge about York and where to go. Location was great and very close to the centre. The breakfast was good, I had the full English and it was very tasty. Great selection of beverages. I would recommended offering milk alternatives, but I’m sure this is something the host would accommodate if requested prior to the stay.
