We had a great stay here. The hotel was not very busy on this particular weekend. The staff was friendly and everything was clean and tidy. Nice pool area and grounds. Excellent location right by SeaWorld and also convenient to Universal and Disney. My only gripe was the sound deadening in the room. You can hear all sounds coming from the poop closet, and the shower is exposed. So just make sure you are on very comfortable terms with anyone you might be sharing the room with. Overall had a great stay and plan to return.

Cancelled my reservation 3 days before attending a trade show with no explanation other than "maintenance issue". They conveniently rebooked at a sister hotel, without my knowledge, 2.5 miles further from the convention center. What was confusing was our block of four rooms were all cancelled... so now I am left scrambling to find a hotel closer.

We came on a Thursday and could not stay to Monday which was checkout. We ended up checking out early Sunday morning. When we arrived the bathroom smelled of strong urine. The shower was nasty and obviously not cleaned at all. We asked for room service since Thursday night and they never came once until sunday. I asked to speak with a manager about the situation and they never were available to speak with me. We asked for towels we needed a total of 5 and they didn't bring us any until the next day which was only 2. I went downstairs to request them in person they guy tells me he already had the request in. At this point I am beyond pissed I ask him to please bring me the towels he goes back brings me two pool as there are no bath towels available. As I waited for the towels another customer asked me how long I was waiting for the towel and I told him our story. He shared that they has requested soap and he neither has received it. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone and we will never stay again. After all of the issues we read same reviews online go figure. For charging $714.00 this is absolutely absurd and this is not the way you treat your customers!!!

I was excited to stay here for a business conference and check out Aloft. The rooms are unique and have a open concept design with a partial wall separating the bed from the shower area. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the service from the start. I don't know if it's a management issue or staffing issue. A couple people in our group were sent to 3 different rooms during checkin that were all dirty. I do know the front desk was complaining about a new update that was affecting the process. Most of our rooms were not stocked properly. I was missing washcloths as were most in our group, the coffee station was not restocked during the cleaning. House keeping said they did not have any of the items. The public restroom in the lobby was not maintained either. The overall concept and decor is nice and I could recommend if the service issues are resolved. The lobby has a nice area to lounge and relax.

I didn't realize there was a $24/day parking fee; will not come back here primarily because of that, but also because of the cleanliness, lack of friendliness/attention from staff. Seems like the front desk girls are looking at their computer more than paying attention to the needs of the guests; at aprox. 7:00 pm on 12/18, front desk women was talking on earbuds while I was asking for more creamers, no cups at coffee area. Wasn't clean enough for me. Second day we didn't get enough towels, no bath mat, no restocking of tea, sugar...just felt like a general laziness of the staff....oh, yeah, all my stuff was on the floor; not enough counter space to store things.
