Alpine Trail Ridge Inn

This lodge has perfect location right in front of the Rockies and close to local restaurants and grocery store in downtown Estes park. Room is spacious and clean, with small bathroom. I am fine with the space as I am a slim lady fitting size XS but if you are of bigger build, it is difficult to move around in bathroom and toilet area. Sound proof is poor. Unless you have an early bird neighbor and do not play TV aloud, you may not be able to sleep well. Parking here is absolutely a pain. I wish the management could have figured it out more efficiently. I was told not to park in front of my room upon arrival during a rainy evening. I wish this was communicate earlier before the stay rather having me caught up in confusion. Moving the car to position in a tight place was my least favorite during the trip. When I checked out, a rude and aggressive man pulling into the area without the road manners and almost hit my bumper. As a solo woman traveller, I do not feel respected and feel the management could have done better to keep the travelers safe. I love the Rockies and beauty of the nature in the park; however I will consider another lodging choice next time.

We had to flee a bad airbnb, and Amanda was so helpful and kind. She told us to come right over and let us check in early. The room was very spacious and clean, and most of it was newly renovated. (The sink is located outside the bathroom, which is nice when staying with another person, and the bathroom is pretty small but it was fine for us.) The view from the window/ balcony was beautiful. Location was perfect. Bed was very comfortable. Couldn't hear the road noise with the heater on low, and didn't really have any issues with noise. We would stay again. Clean, comfortable, great service. :)
