The room have heaters only and there’s no window that could open. The room itself is warm. Not sure why.. There’s no air conditioning. It made our 1st night very uncomfortable and we couldn’t sleep well. When ask about air conditioning, they gave us a small fan. I’m not expecting from a 4 star hotel. There’s no air ventilation in the room. When I approached them again, they offered to keep the emergency door in the room open for us is better but still too warm to sleep. Can’t imagine staying for the next 6 nights. The people are helpful and because it is central control, I know they can’t do anything about it. Perhaps the management got to rethink about the heater / air conditioning issue during the winter months.

The hotel is super close to the train station and ropeway to the herb gardens. The room is very spacious and clean. There is shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. Also a TV and fridge. There is a luxurious atmosphere in the hotel. The room has good view over the city. Only downside was that the swimming pool didn't open early in the morning.

Extremely bad experience and worst hotel service I’ve experienced ever. We booked a standard room at non-Club floor in December. The air ventilation and air conditioning are extremely poor, so poor that I got ill. We complained on our second day and the staff only provided us with a fan and an option of paying more for a room on Club floor. The staff also told us they we could go to the Club Lounge but it turn out only club member can went there. We ordered goods online to deliver to our hotel room but the staff didn’t deliver them to our room and we need to pick it up before 6pm at the counter. We will never ever visit this hotel again and other hotels under the same group.

I stayed here for 2 weeks in late August of 2023. I had a lovely time. There’s shopping and restaurants in the same building. Lawson’s and Family Mart are within one block. You can get to the Shin-Kobe train station in a few minutes walk through a covered walkway so even if it’s raining you don’t get wet. The tram to the herb gardens fins from the same complex. I loved my room and the view. The staff was beyond helpful and kind; especially the bell captains (so come to them with any questions). I had to mail some packages back to the US and I needed help. I’m not very intelligent and I’m difficult to deal with on a good day. Noriko and Azusa spent a bunch of time helping me set up a shipping account with Japan Post, getting my customs forms in order, and handled getting my packages to the Postal Carrier. They were so kind and patient that I left Japan with a warm feeling in my heart. I can’t wait to come back and stay here again.
