Great hotel in a great central location. Very friendly staff that make you so welcome and like family. Was a great Saturday afternoon day session with DJ playing on the rooftop and Fabi was so friendly and made us feel so welcome. The hotel has a great vibe. We got the cheapest room. It was small and quite basic.

An absolute gem of a hotel! Location is amazing - I don't think you could find better! We had a family room (2 adults and 2 kids) and it was plenty big and curtains dividing room helped a lot. Bar / Reception - staff are just incredible and so friendly/ helpful. Breakfast is delicious. Fresh croissants, pretzels, bread, fruit, yoghurt, cereal...and even some hot food items (but these go fast so get up early!). So many nice touches that I don't want to spoil by mentioning here but know this is a special hotel! Bar is very cool. Bottomless brunch on Sunday which we would love to try next time! Rooms are quiet and beds comfortable. Cleaning / maintenance staff so friendly and helpful. Rooms made each day to a high standard. Place is spotless! Lots of fresh soft towels each day.

I'll start with the positive. The location is ideal. The very center, I’m not sure if it’s possible to find a more ideal location than this. All tourist spots are nearby. The staff is incredibly polite and positive. The girls at the reception are very kind and sweet. And the last positive star is the pillow. The most comfortable pillow I've ever had. But... the room is so dark that you can see absolutely nothing, even if you turn on the lights everywhere. I couldn’t see myself in the mirror, it was impossible to apply cream or even makeup.. Also the bathroom is incredibly small. After a shower, absolutely everything is in water. Everything is wet. Small washbasin. impossible to wash face or even arrange your personal care items. This is the first time I have such an experience..

the location of this place really was great, since it was so near the main square. the property itself is chic and lovely, with a bar at the reception and a very lively atmosphere. the room is also so modern and comfortable, it was a delight staying there. attention to detail is something this hotel does well, such as the in-built music in the bathroom and bottled cocktail with ice bucket(!) the night before i left. we stayed in an apartment-style room and there was more than enough space for everyone. i interacted with the staff for some enquiries and everyone i spoke to was very friendly!

I loved my stay at Haus im Tal. Large Rooms with modern and minimalist interior in the middle of town. Very quiet. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, so comfortable in fact that we never got to take advantage of the breakfast as we didn't want to get up. Very nice team on arrival and check out. location is excellent 3 minute walk to Marienplatz and Viktualienmarkt. Special note to the coffee and coffee machine in the room. I have bought it for my office now as it was the best capsule (biodegradable) that i have had. Worth the € it for the excellent sleep experience and a welcome change to the usually quite traditional hotels in Münich.
