Immersive wildlife, immaculate decor, and Cebo's outstanding hospitality made our stay at Zimbabwe's Stanley & Livingstone unforgettable. A perfect blend of luxury and nature — a true gem.

Well appointed boutique hotel not far from the town and falls. A beautiful refuge with lovely views and gardens. I loved the veranda and views from our room. The rooms are super spacious. The service very good. Breakfast included is very good and the seating and views magnificent. Relative to other More properties, we found this one to have high standards and amenities, but not quite as high or as personable as the others. The bathroom floors need a good scrubbing. The bath mat was brown with soil after getting wet on the floor. Bring shower shoes. Had it not been for these things, this hotel is a definite 5. We were surprised the pricing of food and drink at the hotel and the area in general, to be as high as it is. I don’t know how this is justified given the challenged economy, except that of course the Falls are an international draw. Transactions are in U.S. dollars, but U.S. is not Zimbabwe’s currency; this was a first for us. So bring plenty of cash and/or find out whether ATMs offer U.S.currency. All things considered, we had a lovely experience, and I recommend this hotel. If you like this review, please click on the Helpful button.

What a beautiful property! We were deciding between The Stanley and The Victoria Falls Hotel and after having seen both properties, I can confidently say The Stanley and Livingstone is the nicer of the two. While The Vic Falls Hotel might have more historical significance, The Stanley and Livingstone appeared to be more worth the price point. The property itself is stunning with both beautiful grounds and interiors. The rooms are very spacious and large. And the entire common area (living room, restaurant, bar) all look out to the property's private reserve. We frequently saw rhinos, impala, monkeys and giraffe right outside. This hotel is a must if visiting Victoria Falls.

This hotel offers accommodation through various agents. I requested a booking at the Stanley & Livingstone hotel, based on the advertised offering for SADC rates (when I wanted to book the month was included). I was then told they had decided to stop selling the offered, and despite the pricing not having been updated (when I tried to book), the hotel refused to meet the offered pricing or correct their error. Despite the agent requesting the hotel to honor their promoted pricing, they declined. While I know that the hotel has the right to amend their pricing, this in my view, is an unethical way to handle business and treat potential customers. I believe the ethical thing would have been to honor the price advertised by one of their selected agents. Definitely not the type of hotel or establishment that you can trust with your accommodation needs or travel plans!!! Totally upset, aggravated and fuming with this hotels approach to customers and potential clients, no plans to go here or any of their other locations!!!
