An excellent, if a bit aging resort in Bintan Indonesia, located on a beautiful virtually private sandy beach. Only an hour ferry ride away from Singapore it is a great option for a quick getaway if you live in Singapore or have a couple of days’ stopover in Singapore.

Went for our year end corporate trip and our team enjoyed ourselves very much. Yudi (Can’t remember his exact name…) is very glad to upgrade 3 of our rooms to the island suite to accommodate our request for the twin beds. He recalled my name and greeted us and go through with us the activities, facilities and restaurants. Staffs overall are very friendly that greet you with bright smiles. Service is exceptional, from sheltering us with umbrella when boarding the bus to welcome us with drink and snack. Nothing much to complained other than one staff in particular (Mavel?) working at Lotus Cafe seem unfriendly and show us annoyance for a reason I can’t pinpoint and understand…

Wonderful experience with the service. Hotna was our client manager and she really handled our services well. Even the ferry modifications were handled by the team. From Spa to food, everything was exceptional. Extremely thankful for such a marvellous service.

Covid hit hard on businesses! Angsana reopened but in comparison to my stay at Cassia, the staff were ok but the breakfast buffet & Xana dinner was not as good as Cassia’s Vista. I feel that to draw the crowd back to a place with less activities, the food needs to improve at least. Xana has great ambience & setting but the food was not the best in quantity & quality was rather disappointing. Hope they will improve! Best meals are at Banyan Tree but of course pricey!! Vista is acceptable but satay is very good there!
