We stayed in Rome for two nights after a cruise . Two normal double rooms but quite different in size . Good point - very close to the Colosseum, and the Roman forum . Back street location so some nice little places to have coffee and eat . Not lots of traffic in the back streets Room terrace Bad points Service was patchy . I think the owner ( dark haired lady ) had an undertone of superiority about her … “ I’ve already told you that “ type of thing You can’t take your room keys out of the building and you can’t get back in unless someone is on the front desk .. Ac - no controllers and noisy water pump at night No slip Matt in the shower and it was VERY slippery . Almost stacked it twice . No English TV channels that we could find . Worst point was Data protection . The day we arrived there we onto copies of people passports all over the front desk . Anyone thinking to perhaps steal that information could have just taken photos as no one was on the front desk all the time . Terrace - you can take your own drinks but the chairs are so uncomfortable that you don’t feel like staying very long . Two have some decent cushions and that was it . Mirrors in the rooms impossible to use !

The location is out of this world, just around the street view of the Coloseum and about 10-15 minutes walk to it. Very nice staff, pretty much the best room you can get from a 3 star hotel in Italy. An amazing experience. Well done.

Price too high for the quality of service and rooms. Old rooms, old systems, moisture on walls and bathroom everywhere. Nice people working there! Ah the key system is bad too as you need to have someone really here 7/7

Booked this hotel for a last minute trip to Rome. Wasn’t expecting much from the reviews and pictures but was pleasantly surprised. Hotel rooms and bathroom were very clean and offered cleaning services everyday where they make your bed and replace towels etc. Decor is a little bit dated but fine. Shower pressure was not that high but still decent. Bathroom also had a bidet which was a plus. AC was really good which was needed because it was very hot when we went. Nice view of the street outside from the window. One negative was that walls are thin and we could hear the neighbours/ people outside talking. There’s also alot of noise on the street when bin lorries come in the middle of the night to empty the bins. Location was fantastic, 7min walk from the colosseum and loads of restaurants / gelato places around. Hotel service was also very good but breakfast was a bit disappointing with not many options. They give you a croissant, yogurt, cold bread with jam/ nutella and cheese. Choice of tea/ coffee/ juice. I still highly recommend this hotel for a short stay in Rome, we stayed for 5 nights.
