As a foreigner, it was obviously a bit of a culture shock on the size differences between America and Japans room sizes. That being said, I found it to be quite cozy and shockingly nice after getting used to it. Service was on point as well, was never bugged, always given supplies if they didn't service it, all in all, 9/10 rating for my 2 weeks stay at Apa in Minato. If you're a tourist, it's definitely a spot to go reserve and it's extremely close to the metro.

No air conditioning in the rooms. Fan doesn’t work either. They tell us to open windows. Window mechanism broken. Have to use shoe to prop window open. Have to keep door open in hallway to maintain normal room temperature. Otherwise it seems reasonable for the price point.

The hotel is what you'd expect for this price. The rooms are small but overall clean. The front desk service was fine but the cleaners skipped my room for some reason. There was also this bad damage to the ceiling in my room which might have been due to a broken sprinkler. I just hope there wasn't any mold growing up there. Location also isn't great. It's quite far from any stations and only near to a few bus stops.
