If you are looking to stay in Old Town Dubrovnik, this is a good option. Very close to Pile Gate, just inside the walls. After sightseeing within the walls, it was great to have a cool retreat from the hustle. There were outside chairs that we could bring into the alley to use with a little table. If you can secure the ground floor suite, you will be able to circumvent all of the stairs that Old Town has to offer - big bonus. Check in was super easy. We only had one key card which was fine since my husband and I were together the whole time but it would be inconvenient if folks wanted to split up throughout the day. The ground floor suite had a very comfortable queen sized bed, strong AC & wi-fi, good shower pressure and all the things you would need in a kitchenette (there’s even coffee) BUT it is VERY small. We didn’t have a lot of room for our suitcases (2) and had to do a bit of manoeuvring and organizing. You can see from the image that a full size just fits with no place to lay it flat to unpack. The door to the unit is glass with a curtain but it would have been helpful to have a blackout curtain. Since we were on the main floor, our unit faced the main entrance which meant that it was lit all night long. Towels and toilet paper provided were more than enough for 4 nights but the two tiny bottles of shower gel were not. It was clean, mostly quiet, and had everything we needed. We were just super surprised at how small it was. You don’t get that sense from the photos on the website. If you are looking to stay within Pile Gate and travel lightly, this is a great option. Literally everything is at your doorstep.
