Love-love-love-love! The apartments are located in a super beautiful place, the view of the city is charming. The apartments themselves are very cosy, bright, there is absolutely everything you need for a comfortable life, everything is thought out to the smallest detail. Right next to the apartment there is a lovely wine bar with a gorgeous view. We are delighted with the staff: we have travelled a lot, but this is the first time we have seen such attention to our guests. Elisabeth wrote to us a few days before our arrival and gave us detailed directions from the airport. We were met on site by the lovely Mrs Nilde, who spoke to us in detail about the apartments, the city and gave us lots of great recommendations on where to go and things to do in the city. We will definitely recommend Arco Apartments to our friends and will definitely come back again. Thank you 🤍

We loved our stay here. The apartment was spacious, clean, well stocked for self catering and had a magnificent view of the river and Porto. It’s well located and not too noisy. Thank you Elizabeth and Nilde for your hospitality.

Loved my stay here. The hosts are professional and friendly, they made sure someone was waiting for me when I arrived and answered all my questions. They even got me a welcome gift of pasteis de Nata. The apartment itself was clean, well stocked, and beautifully laid out. I didn’t want to leave! The only word of caution is that in order to get down to the riverside, you have to go down quite a number of steps, not recommended for the elderly. Would be easier to go up and take the cable car down from across the bridge.

Elizabeth, our host, is extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the area and responsive. This is an apartment almost to the top of the hill above the Duoro River. Be prepared to climb stairs. We are in shape so no problem but there is a lot of walking to do in Porto. There are Tuk Tuks, bicycles etc to rent. Lots of tourists on the riverfront. We found an amazing experience for dinner at Patrimonio Mundial with Fado music. Also, Tapas with Friends up the hill from Arco. Vibe and service and food very good. Next time I would rent a car and explore River Douro and find a Winery with accommodation. September a good time to visit. Skip the wine tours near River. For breakfast I recommend 7g down along the river on Gaia side down a side street. Thank you Elizabeth!
