Friendly people, relaxing room, beautiful views, picturesque surroundings, and delicious food...Life's Good :-)🙏🏻👌🏻 Kaiseki dinner was slightly below expectations in terms of taste, but on point for the experience. Private onsen for hotel guests is a plus as the public one tends to be overcrowded; however, give it a go as it has unique amenities 😉

dog shyt hotel, not worth the travel, situated on steep hills which is very difficult to climb. shower hose also not connected properly, water leaking out and spraying my dry clothes. hotel staff not helpful or friendly at all, did not help move luggage to the car (to bring us to subway), the car couldnt even send us to shinkansen station..., had to take subway ourselves, did not say thankyou or goodbye when we left hotel room was very small, no leeway to move luggage around, terrible blankets

The dinner is amazing but the breakfast is a bit disappointing since the dinner is way better. But the room is not good the room is very old but it's very clean. For the hotspring it's nice i used the one only people who lived in the hotel can use there is no people there so you can enjoy peace, i haven't try but the massage is cheap. I also haven't try the hot springs with people who didn't book the hotel but they can use. And there is also shuttle bus service every 30 minutes so you don't have to go up the hill

I do not feel welcome at the front desk. They are not pleasant and welcoming. I think they need to work on their customer service skills. Unlike the receptionists at the front desk, the service at restaurants is pretty great. The staff who serves food is very attentive and nice, but the quality of breakfast they offer is very poor. The breakfast menu here is the same everyday.
