I wish I could give the property a 5-star rating for the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff. Everyone has been incredibly nice and always did their best to make our stay enjoyable. However, there are certain things about the property which make it impossible to give it more than 3 stars. Everything seems a bit outdated. Which generally isn’t a problem, but it becomes a problem when it appears to be not well maintained which is clearly the case at Ascott Kuningan. Our iron did not work, it took 30 minutes and calling the guest service twice to finally get a new one ( not convenient in the morning when you have to get ready for work) The washing machine did not work, it always displayed an error code. The toaster does not switch off no matter to what time you set it, a potential fire hazard. On one day, we were surprised when we came back to our room at 5pm and it had still been not made up ( the green light for please make up room was on from 11am). Overall, the property and especially the appliances seems to be in lack of maintenance. We’ve stayed here previously and had a similar experience, but wanted to give them one last chance this time. Unfortunately, it is definitely not what you expect from Ascott.

Rooms are large and decently furnished. Cleanliness was good. Overall the rooms are slightly dated but at this price decent. Lobby is small like an apartment complex lobby but staff was courteous. Restaurant staff was very helpful, but food choice were quite limited. In-room massage was reasonably priced, though the staff was pushy and wanted to offer something extra. Beware.

Celebrating my daughter's birthday here for 3 days staycation. She is very happy to see the notes from the staff, and surprise cake. Room was spotless and facilities are exceptional. Staffs was very helpful and communicative. Everything was perfect. Also bring my 11 mo baby to stay here, never thought she is very comfortable, and sleep through the night so easily. Keep up the good services! 👍👍👍

Location was nice, rooms are clean, amenities are excellent! However the breakfast buffet was disappointing for its price. There was a selection of asian and western breakfast but the option wasn’t much (I can’t find potatoes). Eggs were a tad bit dry and biriyani was bland. Cheese option wasn’t great either. But the waffles are great! room service are only available for apartments in the afternoon so it leaves me no choice but to try the buffet.
