Quiet location with suitable security. Shops and restaurants within walking distance, and a 2 minute walk to the beach which had amazing views of table Mountain and Cape Town. I went with a group and rented the entire villa, so it was an unfortunate surprise to find a live in masseuse working from one of the un-bookable rooms. There was a steady stream of clients in and out, and people waiting in the living room/pool area for her services. The room at the end of the villa doesn't have access to the kitchen/communal area without going outside and through the garden because of the masseuse room, which can be inconvenient when the weather turns! There are two housekeepers also living on site who were fantastic, and always available to help with anything needed. The kitchen area required a bit of cleaning when we arrived, though in general it was acceptable. Overall a pleasant stay, though be aware of the above mentioned issues if renting the entire building.

Great little place to stay. Sunset Beach is one block walking distance. Plenty of shops and restaurants within 5 min drive. The room I stayed in was huge and very nicely furnished. The gentleman, Whakisa was very helpful and always on hand if I needed anything. The bnb had a nice homely feel to it. Very well priced too. I'd stay here again. 👍

Rooms are beautiful They allow small pets which are well trained which to me was awesome, being able to bring our pet. very clean pool. The place is not that clean, the corners of the rooms had spider webs, under the couch it was dirty , the jacuzzi was not clean.....I think the person who cleans needs improving. the shower floor was not clean , the bathroom drawers Its not hotel style, therefore service was lacking, when we had to leave there was no one to drop our keys with and therefore delayed us for about 40 minutes waiting for the cleaning guy. the lodge needs more staff, for now, I saw one guy who was the one who welcomed us, the cleaner , the everything and the entrance where he stays .the garage could look better. The spa which is mentioned on the website is not there. its not beach front or beach access, however the beach is a walking distance. the breakfast is not free, its R150 per person. overall, I would go again.

I had an extremely pleasant experience at Atlantic Bay Lodge. The owner came to meet us upon booking, showed us our room and introduced us to all of their facilities, and friendly staff. In their big room (the one we booked) there was a mini bar fridge stocked with goodies, such as cool drinks, beer and wine for purchase. The lodge is a stone throw away from the beach, which is quiet and scenic. We received a key with a gate remote to move in and out of the facility freely to go for a walk on the beach or go out at night. The location is close to popular restaurants and night clubs, and it's cheap to Uber to around the area. Definitely consider this place my new escape. Big thanks to David and staff from Atlantic Bay Lodge!
