My daughter is living in this unit in a Premium Studio. The building is very clean and with a good smell and safety. Students have all facilities and everything is very well organized. The guards are nice, polite, helpful and vigilant. The studio is quite small, but my daughter is keeping it tidy up and clean. The only problems are with some of the other tenants as following: * in the laundry office they often leave the trash on washing machines, even is a trash bin there. Tenants take the iron machines in their studios and they brought back after few hours, which is not ok at all. If you use the iron you should bring back immediately after you finish. The administration should put advertisements about this issue! * the smoke alarm is starting all the time in my daughter s studio, even if the smoke is from neighbors. Sometimes in the middle of the night. In consequence I highly recommend Sherburne AXO 100%! Update: I ve read the negative reviews and I have few observations because I ve noticed that some people don't properly understand how a rent contract is working. 1. When you decide to rent a place make sure that you know exactly where the location is and that it s fitted with your needs and wishes. Any later complaints are ridiculous. 2. When you rent a place, you are aware about * how much the rent is * terms of payments * conditions to withdrawl/cancel the contract . Take in consideration that you have to pay that amount of money specified as rent in the contract, for 1 year or the term of your contract, no matter what. You should think about your financial situation for the whole length of the contract. Are you able to provide the rent money for1 year or more, or not? This is a business! They provide you with a location/flat and services for a certain amount of money and a certain period of time, things which you knowledge before to sign the rent contract, accepting terms! Put yourself the question: if I had financial troubles in the future, I d be able to pay my rent or not? You should be responsible for your decisions, not others! My advice: read and check very carefully before to sign a contract. Think to everything, especially financial obligations and your resources for the whole length of contract. If you sign the contract, take all the responsibility you assumed!

I decided to stay at Sherbourne Student Village for 2 years. My first year was pretty poor as all university learning moved online, yet no refund/rent reductions were given. However, I decided to stay here for my 2nd year which was more normal as the rent seemed cheaper than other accommodation providers. This year I have had many issues with the hot water and heating which would keep switching off after a fire alarm and I was left with no hot water for 3 consecutive days and have had 10 days of hot water disruption in total as the boiler broke one time. There were numerous days where hot water would stop working preventing me from having a shower. It then took them 2 months to replace the boiler and I had to use an electric heater which was insufficient. I demanded some rental compensation but my request was rejected and for that reason I will not be staying at Sherbourne next year. The team of people at the accommodation is very friendly but the management team have been very stubborn in dealing with complaints and their behaviour has been simply unacceptable.
