As a hostel, okay… maybe it is good. As a hotel, it’s disappointing. The rooms are bare, lifeless and a bit claustrophobic. The location is not so great, as there are many more locations closer to restaurants, night markets and simple conveniences, like 7-11. It’s not terrible, but it’s over-rated on some hotel booking websites.

Nice place in a quiet area, rooms are nice and spacious even though not really bright. Price was 700B with breakfast included. If you stay longer price doesn't change.

Good location to everywhere in the old city. Free breakfast and tastes good. Daily hskp so the room is clean enough. Will come again.

I really enjoyed the hostel, was more like a hotel for me, somedays I had the whole female dorm for myself, the bathroom is soo big with kind of an living room before, so there is a lot of space. 5min away to the next 7eleven and also at this area a really nice night market every day! I can recommend Koa Sok! Breakfast is included, what is really nice, in the hostel you can buy glass water bottles (to reduce plastic) - free water would be even nicer! (Maybe in future?) I am crying i am not weak,people at hostel complaint about me because 1. I didnt want to talk with anyone. I want to be by myself continue meditating. 2. One sat beside my clean laundry smoking talking at midnight 3. They talked after 23:00 inside the room. 4. The weather is good outside, it doesnt make sense to turn on 2 ac at 22 degree celsius high speed fan , close all windows and very thick blanket available. I am used to simple life , sometimes be mindful loving, so i apologise when too hot for everyone i didnt turn back on. But they turn very cold ac and lights and go out and come back late not happy face. 5. They wear shoes from outside to inside the room 6. One walk here and there for 2 days after midnight. (If one has incontinence i understand. if one drink come back late, it is really not nice) please take care, at 23:30 is really late. 7. I do not need someone to help carry all my stuffs, and risk injuring themselves. Half suitcase are books i photocopy for my son and other children who need, because i couldnt find and couldnt afford to buy. 1/4 medicines water heater bucket cloth to cook herbs, drink warm. 1/2 warm clothes. 1/4 gifts from people at wat . I do not want for myself use all good stuffs, i will think how are my parents. 8. I am sick, i am sick after tooth removal, i need rest good nutrition. today wan phra full moon, i wasnt that nice with my words or face after ansthesia wore off. . I am crying hardest things in life is anger punishments from others. Owners didnt admit they were owners , which dont make sense. they pray listen monk dhamma chanting everyday. Owner asked me what was that inside my bag. I am not rich, chiang mai weekend organic market sell cheap good stuffs, i bought for my parents. Yesterday night, i had a bit dispute, one who walked talked here there got very mad, told me to leave or book the whole hotel stared slammed her stuffs. One worker or lady came up. I was so scared , i had been abused before. She said i move to baan ploy in 2 which is 3 stories mini studio rooms with fridge iron plates hangers ac microwave (she didnt mentioned) , she said add 100 baht more. While walking from baan ploy in 1 to 2, she kept carrying my stuffs and said 200 baht more sorry she heard wrongly. I wanted to rest after my mini operation, i am eating a lot of drugs, she didnt let me have refund ask how long i am staying in chiang mai where am i going how long am i going to continue staying. Because dishonesty lack of kindness, i wanted my refund back, but couldnt. So i had to stay at baan ploy in 2. The next day, i was even sick tired i needed rest, i ask if i can stay longer and told housekeeper the truth. (When i was at baan ploy in 1 , i removed bed coverings , it wasnt clean at all. When they can wash and vacuum. Actually 1st time when i was alone in august, it was quite dusty messy from no guest. I clean again.) Next day at baan ploy in 2, The housekeeper said some people checking in i was given only 10 minutes to pack and go , they stood stared waited. Is the problem because money? Or dont accept truths? It is not outside clean hardworking, but inside also clean follow dhamma be nice kind what is most important is i need rest. At baan ploy in 1 air was better and 4th floor have view. Baan ploy in 2 was one window in the room, if open the door, smells, in morning some spray pesticide and mop cleaner , penetrated from door opening. I am not dangerous with covid or some other transmitted diseases. i am sorry , i have stayed in temple for long time and probably posting this is not follow buddhism. I helped my husband hostel before, no money no love, but i still clean paint garden as what is good for my health happiness. Life outside temple is hard because people are not mindful loving quiet toward themselves . May all be happy healthy . May buddha bless us all. I am not complaining Well, i forgot my shoes and charger there. Original xiaomi charger.
