Baby Elephant Boutique Hotel

Words cannot describe how much we loved our stay at Boutique Elephant Hotel. As vegans, it was such a joy to be in such an animal loving space with relaxed vibes and a fantastic menu with so many vegan options to choose from. The breakfast was really generous and there are so many delicious vegan options on the menu, it was hard for us to go out to other places to eat we ended up eating most of our meals at the hotel. The outdoor space by the pool is really relaxing - they play great ambient music and you can lounge all day, eating great dishes, swimming and vegging out with the cat Xanadu and Happy the dog. All the staff were so lovely. They were attentive and helped us out with a lot of things such as booking tours, where to find products we needed, calling an international airline to change a flight etc. They really went above and beyond. When my wife injured her ankle on our second last day they were all really concerned and caring. Now we have to give a big shout out to the hotel cats, Xanadu and Didi who made our stay extra special with all their lap cuddles (maybe we let Didi in for a bed cuddle too) and Happy the beautiful dog. Why don't more venues have animals to hang out with and pet all day? Don't be deterred by the negative reviews of this place. I have lived in Cambodia and travelled extensively and the accommodation is clean and well cared for. We had some minor draining issues in our bathroom and as soon as we raised it with the staff they fixed it right away. All rooms also have a sign on your door that you can flip to say 'please make up my room'. We did this several times over our six day stay and they made it up beautifully every time. The staff also did laundry or us and made us breakfast boxes for our sunrise tours. We found it close enough to everything and just jumped in a Grab if we had to get anywhere further away ($1 per ride, very affordable). We stay in two luxury hotels on this trip in Vietnam and Thailand and this is still our favourite. We'll definitely be back!

We didn't stay there but did 3 yoga classes, a cooking course, a day retreat (incl massage) and ate and drank there a few times. Would stay there if going again. Small pool (to cool off rather than swim). 3 yoga classes daily, food and juices great, nice coffee, lovely chill out area beside the pool, clean and good WiFi.
