Its excellent choice. The hotel staff is highly co-operative, despite language barrier for foreigners. The ambience and the service is just superb. I stayed in this Hotel for 6 nights, and enjoyed the best hospitality. Great co-ordination within the staff. The Hotel is very conveniently located, close to the railway station, thus making it extremely easy to commute. The only feature I found strange was the lack of English programs and channels on TV. That makes the stay a bit boring for the overseas guest, who would love to lay back after a tiring day, and enjoy the comfort of the room, watching TV programs and movies. This should be considered. I would certainly stay there again, and recommend this Hotel to people travelling to Guangzhou. Thanks Baiyun City Hotel !

Good Hotel if you want no frills and economic stay. Co-operative staff. Good Breakfast. Good Rooms. Very Prime Location. You can actually go around Guangzhou using Metro because it's just 2mins walk from Guangzhou Railway Station Metro on Line 2 and Line 5 of Guangzhou Metro. They also offer free shuttle for Canton Fair. It is better to book prior because they majorly do not have any empty rooms. It is just a walking distance from Guangzhou Clothes and Leather Market. Like you can say centre of everything. Most of the things are just a walking distance from this hotel. For Muslim friends there is a Mosque just on the opposite side of the road. So in all a great place with a great location. You can get metro to and fro airport also which surely saves because taxi charges close to ¥200 and metro fare is just ¥7.

Small rooms. Water pressure is weak. Toilets don’t flush properly. Beds are hard. Linen is clean. Reception staff is helpful, housekeeping staff isn’t. Air conditioning is good (much needed). Quiet hotel and close to public transport and wholesale shops.
