I stayed here for one night, the room has enough for one person, facility standard, comfy enough for the rest, maybe the downside to my room is that it doesn't smell good enough, the toilet flush doesn't turn on, the sink tap doesn't have enough water, maybe it can still be improved to be better. Beside that, the location of this hostel are strategist, in front of the sea, the staff are helpfull and they give me pancake for breakfast (this include the price when i booked).

I stayed in AC room so it was not the worse. The other room with fan was a bit smelly and humid. Very basic room, no shelfs for your private stuff next to bed, not enough electricity plugs, no plugs next to bed, no safety lockers, hard to find a space to put your belongings. place could use some proper cleaning. No hot water in the shower. No WiFi in the rooms. I mean location is fine but even at the check in there was no one in the reception and I waited quite long until someone showed up. I’ve stayed in cheaper places or the same price which were way much nicer and they also have been in Indonesia in even more touristic places. It’s genuine feedback to the owners that it’s time to make some adjustments. I’m a seasoned hostel guest so I don’t mind that much but others may not be so forgiving.

We had a pleasant stay at Bajo Sunset Hostel. The beds and linen were exceptionally clean. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Beautiful resident dog! The bathrooms definitely could be improved. If you are not a seasoned hostel guest I would not recommend, but for everyone else, the facilities did the job, very well for the price of stay. The pool was not very clean and there was no social atmosphere - although I do believe these things will all improve as tourism becomes busier after the pandemic. Overall, this hostel is great for its value.

After travelling Southeast Asia for the past 4 months we have stayed in our fair share of accommodations and this was the worst we have stayed in. The room was so dusty we had to take antihistamine medication as our lungs/ throats could not cope. There are gaps everywhere allowing mosquitos to enter. Even though there is a mosquito net it is stained, it has holes in it and is so dusty. You can hear every little thing coming from outside the room too. Worst sleep ever! The tap is a dribble of water, shower is cold… I could go on. The only good things were the view of the ocean and the location for us as we booked a day tour.

Bajo Sunset Hostel - Review Labuan Bajo Flores Smelly, an airless room that made me dry reach went entering it. (250k Rupiah for ONE night !!!!) A total rip-off. Late at night, too tired to find a new place. Hole in mosquito net Centipedes in bathroom & main bedroom. Toilet not flushing. No branded bottled water. Given the lack of cleanliness in the place, I was not prepared to drink their refilled glass bottles. No Bintang beer brand for sale. VERY simple banana pancake for breakfast. No fruit, no juice. Good location. But this does not make up for all the negatives. James
