The hotel was nice. Definitely different from US hotels and a nice experience. The room was clean and comfortable for the most part. The only thing we didn't like was the A/C usage. Apparently nobody wants to tell you the A/C has a limit and/or is turned off during fall months. It was still hot while we were there and couldn't get the A/C to go down enough to cool the room at a comfortable level to sleep. Plus being by the water, it was very humid.

Hotel Barion is very conveniently located. Its entrance is directly connected to the highway (SS16). It also has a convenient gas station right infront of it with a decent little bar/cafe infront of it. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Service was quick and easy. They seem to know many languages. The rooms on the front of the building have a beautiful view of the sea. The room was just a little bit outdated, but clean, comfortable and spacious. My one primary complaint is that we were located on the fifth floor, and breakfast was seved on tge sixth floor. While they offered a wide variety of well made foods, and had a section of roof top outdoor seating with a view, it made floor a very noisy wake up at 7am. Tables and chairs were being set up, and got dragged across the hard floor above us for about fifteen minutes. It was unpleasant. If you book a room, try to inquire about not being on the fifth floor. Otherwise, the overall experience enjoyable, and I'd recommend staying here.

This hotel is excellent! Great value, great service! Mohamed and his team was excellent and really took the time to let us know what to order and what to do to enjoy our few days in puglia! The rooms are super clean and the staff are friendly and super helpful! Honestly this has been our best hotel in puglia!

This was beyond one of my favorite and best hotel experiences. I’ve travelled around the world in the last decade, and I’ve never had a more friendly and welcoming experience than the Barion. The hotel staff from the receptionists to the cleaning service to the servers were beyond amazing. We were treated like family since day 1. We stayed for over 3 weeks, rooms were kept clean every morning. Food some of the best food I ate in bari at the restaurant. Shuttle service was amazing by Angelo. The views on the upper floor balcony during sunset are spectacular. Any time you are in Bari, I recommend this hotel stay. 10/10 Thanks again to the Barion Family.
