I arrived late. There was nobody in Reception and you had to phone the Receptionist at their other hotel. The handle to my room was broken and as there were no other free rooms on the boat I had to wait until someone from the other hotel came to collect me to sleep that night at the other hotel. That took 90 minutes from the time I arrived at midnight. Eventually I was given another room on the ship the following day but had to wait until midday to be taken there. I was given the Disabled room, which was large and comfortable. Breakfast was OK (could have been better), except the day they did not have filter coffee (only instant). The location is superb. The problem is they do not have enough people so, when there is a receptionist, this person is also in charge of the Breakfast restaurant and is difficult to find when you need them. There is no Receptionist at night, so if something happens you have to phone the other hotel, which is 30 minutes drive. They have a single cleaner for the whole hotel, which means that you room may not be made until 5pm. I think the lack of personnel can be very annoying.

Nice location. 10 min walk to central station. A spectacular ship converted into a hotel. Breakfast included, very varied, which is a big plus. I found an old wine bottle in the room 🤣 when I noticed it, I thought it was a complementary for guests... but it was empty. Generally nice stay.

A must visit if you are staying in Gothenburg. Staying on a boat/ship as a hotel is amazing and really authentic. The design is fantastic with the real wood furniture and the whole thing is really well made. Breakfast was also really nice and there was plenty of space and it didn't feel cramped.

We arrived late and the reception was already closed even though they said it would be open. After a longer phone call we got our key card. Unfortunately it was difficult to find the room due to a lack of signs. In our room different light bulbs were missing or damaged. The ceiling was also damaged. We shared a common bathroom with other people. The facilities were quite old and not really clean. Moreover, the light bulbs were damaged so that it was impossible to see something. We also observed that the doors (our room door and the bathroom doors) were very hard to open and to close. We really had to force the door to close which was also very loud. Unfortunately, the staff did not speak English well. The breakfast had different options and was good. We think the hotel has potential as it is a nice old place with quite some history. The rooms are decorated in this historical manner which is nice. It is also in a nice location, close to the main station and the city centre. However, due to missing hygiene in the bathrooms and bad service we would not recommend to stay here.
