If you need a place that has a door that locks and you can sleep for a fairly cheap cost this is it. If you want something nice and care how things look, go elsewhere. It looked like the room and the bed was clean. Staff was nice and the office looks put over the parking so that may give you some comfort as well.

It's no 5-Star Hilton...but what it is is a very clean and affordable hotel that's within walking distance of hotels that are 3-4 times the price, and that's pretty close to Moscone Center. Very nice and friendly staff. Comfortable bed. I went with a 2nd floor room for added security because the neighborhood is a bit rough. Traffic noise was a factor, but that's what ear-plugs are for.

Rooms have been recently updated and are very nice. It's a small hotel, so you have to book quickly, but the rooms are great if you need to host a crew 😜. Colby is hilarious and very friendly at the front desk; the cleaning crew and hotel staff can be overbearing and slow to respond to requests for towels, and the soda dispensing machine out front has been out of order for years (change that maybe? please & thank you!) Location is kind of sketchy, but right downtown -- that's San Francisco for you 🤷🏻‍♂️
