Grilled fish was beautifully executed 💯 love the green peppers and spice level was just right. The fish was fresh, tender and delicious. Definitely worth the wait and would love to try the other varieties.

Come try if you love grilled fish! I am a huge lover of grilled fish and spicy food, this new restaurant met my expectations. Get the Green Pepper Grilled Fish if you are a huge fan of spice. Cheese Tomato is good for people who dont take spicy food. I like how they provide free flow roselle and tangerine peel drinks too. Very refreshing and complements the fish. Staff shouts slogans when serving and when you enter the restaurant so the vibes was lively.

I highly recommend visiting this restaurant during the week, when it is easier to get a table. If you do come on a weekend night, be prepared to wait at least 40 minutes for a table if you don't have a reservation. The grilled fish is a Chongqing specialty that is made with Jiangtuan fish. The fish belly is particularly tender and elastic, and I recommend trying it first. If you're adventurous, try the fish skin, which is the most flavorful part of the hotpot. One hotpot is enough for two to three people. My favorite flavors are green pepper (mildly spicy and flavorful) and spicy (smells great, but can be a bit salty at the end of the meal). The service is friendly and attentive. The staff is also happy to help you choose the right flavor for your hotpot.

Had one of the best grilled fish here. We ordered their Signature Green Pepper Grilled Fish that came with generous serving of green peppers and Sichuan peppercorns, good amount of tofu and slices of potatoes (ordered this separately) in their rich, slightly spicy and numbing broth. They use freshwater fish here - Leoicassis (a type of catfish) in their dishes. The fish was so tender and had a melt-in-the-mouth texture with its natural sweetness. We also tried their Crab Roe & Garlic Grilled Fish. This flavour was catered to our local tastebuds, according to their service team. We find this a rather flavourful broth and it came with some prawns too (bonus)! We also tried their sides like: ~ Fried Spicy Bullfrog ~ Crispy Coconut Fried Chicken ~ Shrimp with Pineapple Mustard Washed everything down with their complimentary free-flow of Roselle and dried Tangerine Peel Tea in their cute bright red and yellow mugs. We’ll be back again to try out more dishes on their menu.
