Great place to stay. Room was really nice and location was great! Really liked the online link/key used to unlock the gates and doors! Our host was very helpful and friendly. The pillows were a bit uncomfortable - they were memory foam pillows, so some people will like it, some won't. Overall, I can't fault anything else, was really nice!

Great location and decent facilities, the room was comfortable with the exception of the air conditioning and wifi. We were in contact with the owner via Whatsapp and messaged him to tell him that the air conditioning was not really cooling the room. Rather than try to help, he was extremely rude and argumentative, falsely claiming that the temperature in the room was 23 degrees and therefore we were wrong and the air conditioning was truly working. This was definitely false! Perhaps the thermostat showed 23 degrees, but there is no way it was that cool in the room. The air conditioning blew weak, barely cool air and the room felt warm and stuffy. The wifi was also very unreliable and did not reach the room. The best part of the stay was Antonio! He was amazing, kind and helpful! The owner should not deal with guests if he doesn't know how to be hospitable. He should put Antonio (the other caretaker) in charge instead! Note: after posting the review, the owner was even harassing us on WhatsApp. Note: looks like the owner has a standard reply to all negative reviews, denying that the customer has been there..

Would have been a decent stay if I didn't end up getting locked between two of the gates upon my exit to my taxi at 5am with the advise of Antonio to leave the key in the common area. I did leave the key in the common area, but then realized I needed one of the three gate keys to open the second gate. With so many gate locks, there is no easy exit and this is actually a fire hazard. You have to use a key to unlock and open the gate to leave, unlike the first gate where you can push a button to exit from the inside (there are a total of three gates with three keys and only the outside gate can you exit from the inside without the key). Should also mention sometimes the middle gate was open and did not need to be unlocked, this was not the case this morning. It was an extremely stressful situation since I was stuck and locked inside in between two gates at 5am to catch a flight. Had I not woken someone up yelling for help (I didn't know if I was the only person staying in the suite), I would have missed my taxi and flight and would have been trapped in the building. I tried called both the manager Vincenzo and helper Antonio but no one picked up (obviously at 4:55am). Would be 1 star because of the gates and getting locked out. But two because otherwise the place was decent besides the smell of septic water in the bathroom, and also Antonino was very nice and helpful to get my taxi, he just didn't think about the possibility of gate key issues upon exiting early in the morning. This is definitely a downside to no 24 hour desk.

Vincenzo is such a lovely host. As this is a bed and breakfast (no 24/7 reception), he messaged us the day before to check what time we will be checking in so he can meet us. He also gave us good recommendations on what to see, where to go eat, etc. He can also arrange for a day tour and taxi ride. The location is fantastic, only a stroll away from the historic area (Via Tribulani), plenty of food options nearby, and the shopping street (Via Toledo) is also nearby. The room is clean, has air conditioner, bar fridge, hair dryer, a small heater and strong wifi. Breakfast is simple but good. Will definitely return to stay here if we ever visit Naples again in the future. Thanks Vincenzo for your hospitality!
