The Best Western Carlton offers very comfortable rooms. The only thing I didn't like was the 2 pillows provided were quite thick, I personally prefer a medium thickness pillow. Though this is purely a personal preference. The breakfast was a buffet breakfast with a good variety of choice and good quality products. I also had evening meal which was very tasty and good value for money. Very prompt service.

Great hotel and helpful, friendly staff. Room was comfortable and had a seaview, which we weren't expecting. Lovely breakfast and small charge for overnight parking in the car park which was far cheaper than car parks nearby. Only things to mention, there was a small step on entry to the bathroom, which my partner tripped up and stubbed his toe on and there was no lock on the bathroom door. Would definitely stay again if we return to Blackpool.

Booked here for a last minute stay for the kids to see the Christmas lights. Hotel location was brill with having the tram stop opposite but Room was cold so my 2 young kids was like Ice blocks. Went down at 2am in the morning to be told heating comes back on at 4am and basically to make do. Wouldn't suggest here for a winter stay again if got young children but otherwise a nice hotel

I chose to have a special occasion here because of the space, views, parking, location, dogs allowed and decoration. These did not disappoint. However.. the day was partially ruined as the dance floor was not put in place ready, and it took over 2 hours for them to figure out how to do this. By which point people were bored and leaving. They also specified they had a sound system and Spotify that could be used. What they didn't mention is that you couldn't make your own playlist or turn the music up as the sound system is connected to the entire hotel. This was a huge disappointment. There was no communication of when I wanted food served, but luckily it still went down well despite having to 'keep it warm'. Prices at the bar are extortionate and the staff are not the most attentive throughout each department but the place is clean and has a good atmosphere regardless.

Very good hotel in great location just north of north pier, with transtop right outside. Quality and cleanliness of rooms very good. Bar, lounge and restaurant areas also lovely, with great views. . ALL Staff Friendly, professional and efficient, nothing to much trouble. Quality of breakfast and dinner offerings absolutely excellent. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.
