No regrets! This gave us a great experience for one night before our cruise. The room was clean and quiet. We never heard any other guests throughout the evening/night. The breakfast buffet was nice.

I was surprised at how nice this hotel turned out to be. It was a Priceline pick. It had been several years since I had stayed at a Best Western. The check-in was quick, friendly, and efficient. My room on the 6th floor was very well appointed. It was quite a pleasant surprise. The only negative was the noisy room ac unit. It is time they replace those with quieter, more efficient units. The bathroom soap and shampoo were also quite bland. Other than that, everything was close to perfect. Breakfast was a huge pleasant surprise. Cheese omelets, warm croissants, and flavorful coffee. I liked this hotel a lot.

Management (Natalie) is rude, unprofessional, and difficult to communicate with. She will not honor tax exemption forms for the Army unless it’s under conditions she agrees to. Which seems to have changed over time. Yes, Natalie did tell me this two days after I checked out when I called her. She never mentioned that while making the reservation on the phone, while at check-in, or when I checked out. Howard, front desk is unpleasant with zero hospitality skills. He had a sign saying he would be back in 5 mins. After 15 mins and a line waiting to check in he decides to pop up from the back when the bartender informed him. I had a 5 hour drive to get there so that was fun. The showers don’t have doors or curtains. It functionally doesn’t make sense. Jacuzzi was out off service. Breakfast sucks for vegans like myself.

Quiet. Clean. Accommodating. My only issue was with housekeeping. Requested and paid the $45 pr hr fee for a late checkout @ 3PM (24 hours in advance). I witnessed and heard the notice being sent to housekeeping. By 1 PM the next day, my keycards were deactivated, and a gentleman from housekeeping acosted us at the door and said we needed to get out so they could clean the room. When we informed him we paid for the late check out, he shrugged and walked away. Aside from that. Nice short stay.
