The most beautiful Bitou River Lodge. A real home away from home stay in this magical place. Incredible hospitality from the owners. Big spacious rooms with a lounge and patios. Delicious dinner and breakfast spread. Very close to Plettenberg Bay town to shop, walk the beaches of hike in the area. I will definitely be back.

Our Bitou ❤️ We had our very first holiday as a couple with you, and you’ve been a special part of our journey since then! I will never forget the moment dearest Sue came walking over to our breakfast table with a plate full of roses and my engagement ring. Each stay with you is just as amazing as the one before, filled with Sue’s incredible breakfasts, picnics by the river and long naps in the hammock. Today we left with heavy hearts knowing it will be our last stay for a while whilst we start our next journey with baby on the way. But we will be back! Thank you for all the incredible stays, we have been so blessed to have spent time in your paradise! For a luxury stay in an idillic location with incredible breakfast and surrounded by the sound of the birds and the smell of nature, a Bitou stay is a must! The lodge is situated barely 5 mins from Plettenberg Bay central with all the shops and restaurants for the city folk and is so close to all the activities any outdoorsy/sporty/nature person could dream of! Lots of love!

An absolutely delightful B & B on the banks of the Bitou River. Your hostess, Sue, cannot be faulted for her friendliness and produces one of the best breakfasts we have experienced. A quiet, relaxed environment and a heaven for twitchers (bird watchers for the uninitiated) yet only minutes from the bustling town of Plett. Each room has its own terrace overlooking the river, a plus provided by Sue's architect husband who designed the rooms.
