Black Door

A Memorable Stay at the Black Door Hotel in the 8th Arrondissement of Paris. I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Black Door in the beautiful 8th Arrondissement, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped through the black door, I was greeted with warmth, impeccable service, and a delightful ambiance. The location of the hotel is truly ideal, situated in the heart of the 8th Arrondissement. This central position allowed me to easily explore the vibrant streets of Paris, while also being within walking distance of several iconic landmarks such as the Champs-Élysées and the Arc de Triomphe. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located near several metro stations, making it effortless to navigate around the city. The front reception was always available to help with Taxis. Our room was a one-bedroom suite with an elegant and modern design. The attention to detail was evident, with tastefully chosen furnishings and a soothing color palette that created a relaxing atmosphere. The room was not spacious in that it was separate from the living and kitchenette. It was also impeccably clean. After traveling for a month, I took great advantage of the washer/ dryer. It was also lovely to take a break from hotel living and cook a couple of evenings. One of the standout features of the Black Door Hotel and Apartments is the exceptional level of customer service provided by the staff. Every interaction felt personalized and genuine as if I was staying with friends rather than at a hotel. From the knowledgeable concierge who provided excellent recommendations, everyone went above and beyond to make my stay truly memorable. The amenities offered at the hotel were equally impressive. The hotel's pool, sauna, and hammam provided a wonderful respite. Whether you are visiting Paris for business or leisure, I wholeheartedly recommend the Black Door Hotel and Apartments. Its prime location and exceptional service create an unforgettable experience.

The street side door to this small hotel is like a portal to another existence. Upon entering one leaves the chaos of Paris’ bustling streets and enters an oasis which feels as close to coming home as one can get in a hotel. The decor is attractively soothing, the rooms are beautifully appointed with high quality linens, laundry machines, comfortable furnishings, and fully equipped kitchens, and are plenty spacious. The staff are available if you need them, but are otherwise unobtrusive. The housekeeping is excellent! I will stay here again, despite not particularly loving the vibe of the 8th Arr!
