Good cheep and *clean* hostel with very friendly staff. Some speek very good english. Very good for people on a budget. Might be to loud for som (som expected road noices in the night). Also som rooms have very low ceilings so if you're taller than 170 you might have to bend a little in places. The wifi is okay. Breakfast very good. We paid 2170 baht for room for 4 for 2 nights. So my main happiness comes from how cheap it was. You can definitely find something nicer but you would also have to pay a lot more.

Our room for three was ok, smaller than the pictures on the website show. Our big problem was the cleanliness of the bathroom and the lack of staff. We stayed for four days and they finally cleaned the shared bathrooms the morning we left. The garbages were only emptied two times resulting in a horrible smell whenever you had to use the toilet or shower. The staff only spoke to us one time our whole stay: at check in. Other than that, we saw staff members maybe three times total and didn't get a smile or hello once. We stayed during Singkran so maybe the place is managed better when it's not a holiday. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place.

We had an unpleasant experience in the top-floor room (3-person), as the bathroom seemed like it was not fully airtight from the room, allowing mosquitos to get in when we stayed. Hopefully it's been fixed in the meantime, but it wasn't great.
