Bonjour D'An Nam Hotel

This hotel is one of the best I have stayed in our Vietnam trip. All the services are top level, the rooms are very clean and we'll equiped , all appliances in great working condition. What you see in pictures is what you get But the highlight of this hotel is the staff and the woman in charge Hang Vu, she is constantly checking on her guests as if we were a part of her own family she would recommend us the best places for tours and shopping and sight seeing all over hanoi. I would highly this recommend this hotel if anyone is staying in the old quater

The absolute perfect location in Old Quarter. It is literally less than 5 mins walk from the main Hanoi action, bars, pubs, restaurants, walking street, coffee shops, you name it. I have not seen such hospitality, politeness and helpful staff in my years of traveling. They are always available, by whatsapp or just walk downstairs. In fact on my last day I needed to get laundry done, I requested them at 7:30 PM and needed it back by 8 AM next morning as I had a flight to catch and they got it done and vacuum packed it for me. The breakfast had slightly lesser vegetarian options, as the kitchen staff makes a few things on-demand, but can’t make anything without eggs. So you have to rely on the standard bread, cereals and fruits. It would be great for the chef to be able to make non-egg items but maybe they don’t get many vegan people. One day there was a Karaoke going on in the lobby as it was the owner’s birthday. I just walked by to enjoy the music and the owner came and offered me a glass of wine. If you are looking for a perfect place in the middle of Old Quarter vibrancy, near to vegetarian restaurants like Ram Krishna, easy to access from the main road (where the tour bus will drop you) - there cannot be a better place. And the front reception staff, they all speak English, help you with literally everything (from how to translate the language, where to get currency exchange for best rates, what to and not to do in Vietnam, the list is endless). And the main manager who makes this all happen - HANG VU. She messaged me a few days before check-in with recommendations on where to go, book day trips, airport pick up, and was available via WhatsApp even on Sunday.
