Staff were friendly. The music in the reception area is a bit loud when tired. Delivery staff come and go too often. I were supposed to stay four nights, but two nights was the limit. There is nowhere to settle down. Official photo is an exposed close-up shot with the lights on. The room I stayed in had a window, but it could not be opened and there was no ventilation. The smell in the room was a harsh mixture of perfume and body odour. There is no kitchen in this hostel and the toilet and shower are on separate floors. Also, the showers and toilets are in the same structure and there is no privacy in the space to undress and wash yourself, and it is too cold in winter. Not recommended if the physical sex is female, regardless of gender. You can really sleep if you have earplugs and an eye mask, and if you have the toughness or sense of urgency to rely on eating out or walking just over 10 minutes to the station every time. It could also be a good option for people who want to socialise with the people in the hostel. Homosocial, though.

My stay at Book a Bed Hostel was far from satisfactory, leaving me rather disappointed. The overall experience fell short of expectations, starting with the cleanliness and upkeep of the facilities. The hostel seemed to lack proper maintenance, leading to a less than comfortable environment. Additionally, the level of service didn't meet the standard I anticipated. Staff responsiveness was slow, and there were issues with communication that added to the frustration. The security measures also left me feeling uneasy, contributing to an overall sense of discomfort during my stay. In summary, Book a Bed Hostel didn't provide the quality and service I was hoping for, making it difficult to recommend to others seeking a pleasant and secure accommodation experience.

5 stars because of the amazing staff and location Great atmosphere and value for money, I slept in a 4-bed room and slept quite okay. Only downside was the hotness of the room due to no A/C, which was to be expected. Showers and toilets were clean, bed was comfortable. Do note it's double beds though, I didn't mind but it's good to know beforehand Staff has all been very friendly and cheerful, lady who checked me in was very sweet and would love to come again for a longer stay

Terrible Terrible Service. We emailed staff asking if we were able to check in early as our flight landed at 5am which they responded saying it was fine and they will email us a code to get let into the accomodation. We arrive at the accomodation at 6am with no code being given by staff. We were sitting on the street stranded until a staff member came at 9am , we explained to her the situation and the emails being sent back and forth. She did not care and was very unhelpful and told us to wait for the manager to come in at 9am. The manager comes and we explained to him the situation , he was very unhelpful and said the staff member responding to our email misunderstood what we said. He then started yelling at us calling us entitled and continued to raise his voice at 3 young girls. We ended up leaving. Do not book here.

The people that worked here made my stay!Arthur you were awesome!! Sure check in took a bit longer than I wanted it too. Even waited a hr extra too. The rooms and everything were super basic albeit clean. Location wise it's a bit outside the area and if you don't want to walk super far unlike me it's either the tube or bus for ya. On the bright side it's in the immigrant district so there is tons of great little food places near by. And the hostel has a ghost kitchen inside it if you want to get some food.
