Boutique Apartment 11

Stayed here for 3 nights in early June 2023. The apartment is managed by Happy Rentals, who provide access to the apartment via lockbox, and provide service over email or phone. The apartment was really clean - everything seems pretty new, and was probably renovated in the last 12-24 months. The kitchen had everything you'd need... fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher, combination washing-machine/dryer, Nespresso coffee maker, kettle, iron & ironing board, vacuum cleaner, and dinnerware & utensils. The living room has a dining table that seats 6, a couch, and a large flat-screen TV. The main bedroom has a large queen bed, a chest of drawers and a large wardrobe which contained extra pillows and blankets. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were very poor... they felt like they were full of large, loose cotton balls. The second bedroom had 2 single beds and a large wardrobe with extra pillows and blankets. The beds were okay, the mattresses were pretty thin (okay-ish for young kids, but would not be suitable for teens or adults). The bathroom was very nice, with a large shower with rainfall showerhead, a toilet and a bidet. The windows and doors in the apartment had built-in motorized blinds that provided security and privacy - a very nice feature that also helped keep the rooms dark and cool when closed. The main door to the apartment was like a door to a bank vault - it was a metal-framed door and the main lock had 6 cylinders, three on the main door edge, one on the top, and too on the hinged edge - it was VERY secure and provided great peace of mind. All in all, I would HIGHLY recommend this apartment, and I would DEFINITELY stay there again. However, there are a few areas where Happy Rentals could improve the service... 1 - for cleaning supplies, we were provided with one dishwasher tablet, one small sponge, and a small bottle of dish soap... I would expect at least 1 dishwasher tablet per day, because there wasn't enough dinnerware for a family of 4 for three days, and a modern dishwasher uses less water than hand-washing. also, there was one garbage bag in the trash can, but no replacement garbage bags for when that was full. 2 - in the kitchen, only 4 coffee pods, 4 creamers and 4 packets of sugar were provided (I would expect at least 4 per day), and no salt/pepper was provided. it's not easy to buy small bags of sugar, salt or pepper, so I would expect Happy Rentals to supply salt/pepper shakers and refill them for each rental period. 3 - the pillows provided were very poor. they were thin, and felt like they were filled with cotton balls or lumps of cushion filler.
