Bp hotel I stayed here for a week, between Christmas and Mew years, and left just after the first. The location is good, but a little far from the action if you are on foot; not bad if you have a scooter. Overall, I enjoyed the stay and would stay here again. Room: the size of the room is very good. However, when you walk in, it would appear that it was a little sparse in terms of furniture. The room had a large bed, a closet cabinet, and a small desk along one side, the other side of the room is very empty. Certainly not a huge issue, but there is plenty of open space in the room. There was a plug next to the bed, but no nightstand; seems like there could be a few more things added to the room to make it a bit more home like. There was a small patio with screening, which was nice, however, not much of a view on the backside; the room overworked, a vacant lot and some alleyways. Bathroom: a nice size with an enclosed shower; something that is not always available at other hotels. It worked well for a solo traveler, but it did not have a shelf or any storage space for bathroom items. There were a few supplies left, but they were not replenished during my stay. TV/Internet: The TV was good, flat panel, and mounted to the wall. It seem to have the standard Thai based channels. I was able to use the HDMI port and a fire stick to access live streams. Location: the apartment is tucked away, and a bit outside of the old city. There is a laundromat close by, and a few shops, a short walk down the road. However, there is no shops or restaurants in the immediate area. It was about a 10 minute walk to get to some restaurants. Not a huge issue if you have transportation. Facilities: all the basics; elevator and building are clean and kept up. Plenty of parking for scooters, and it looks like there were several open spots for cars. Overall it was a nice stay and I would stay here again. My rate was in the 500 baht range; I felt like it was generally a good value, but it may be a bit secluded and out-of-the-way for some people.

The receptionists and guard are very friendly and nice. Room is nice. I forgot to return the key when check out but they don’t blame me. Will stay again if I come back to Chiang Mai.

The rates are great for the quality of the rooms and service. Bedding and linens were always fresh, the service was always helpful and the rooms clean. This is a great selection for a non-luxury budget. Points to consider when booking here: * Air condition is great * In-room fridge * TV * Hot shower * Double beds are king-sized * Wireless internet is fast (multiple hotspots on every floor) * 20-minute walk from the center of old town * No in-house laundromat but one just 100 meters due east on the same street For those new to Thailand, this is one of those hotels where the room keycard must be inserted into the slot next to door in your room to activate all the outlets. If taking a taxi there, be sure to direct them as they may instead drive you into the old town to the B. P. Grand Hotel.
