Great quiet guesthouse outside the busy city. Easy to get to Galle or the beach. On bicycle about 15 minutes. The host is very friendly and always open for advice on trips. Bus stops, shops etc. Stayed here for 4 weeks with day trips and a trip for 4 days up north. If you look for quiet guesthouse bit outside Galle?. Here it is.

My trip to Galle unfortunately only lasted for one night, but if it had been longer I definitely would have extended my stay at Brown's Edge Residence. The place was clean and modern and very reasonably priced. For me though the best thing about it was the hospitality of the host. He welcomed me with cups of tea and went the extra mile to ensure that I had a pleasant stay, and that I made the most out of my short time in Galle.

It was a fabulous stay at Browns edge residence which was located in a quite and calm location very near to busy galle town. Rooms are very clean and nice and Have very beautiful garden and big parking area too. Owner is really helpful and it was feel like home.

Best place for travel. Near to galle town and simple to find. Very calm and peaceful place. Residence is very attractive and clean. Room arrangement is very clear. There is a big lobby and anyone can entertain TV or radio. Bathrooms are very clean. There is a good and clean kitchen. Anyone can cook and have a meal safely in there. Owner is very kind person and help for anything you want. He asking every-time and help for everything. Finally beat and peaceful place. Enjoy the Sri Lanka.
