We didn't stay at hotel but had an evening meal. The duck leg starter was very poor. Couldn't find any duck!! The lamb wasn't hot although the steaks were good. The service charge was over £30 which we were not happy about and the waitress said she couldn't remove it. We will definately not eat there again.

I enjoyed my stay at Quy Mill. Breakfast was good. I'd like more veggie options maybe? I loved the fruit salad, yoghurt and honey. Lovely poached eggs! Our room was really nice and big and the bathroom was big too and we were close to the pool. I loved that we had our own Christmas tree. I would have liked a chest of drawers to put clothes in. The pool and jacuzzi are lovely. It is excellent that you are provided towels. We enjoyed the sauna and steam too. In the evenings we sat in the bar area and enjoyed food and drinks and played games. It was nice and the staff were very attentive. On the second morning the breakfast was short staffed but everyone pulled together and we all had a good breakfast. Location wise it's a short drive to Cambridge. We parked for £7 for the day with the rotary car park.

It was an awful experience and the room was dirty and unkept as well as mould both in the bathroom and bedroom. Lights not working in the room and no one available to solve/rectify the issues. Dirty plates with left over food around the property as well as glasses uncollected in the corridors Was forced to back up on a small access to the property by a staff member and reception were unhelpful. Food not great despite asking for certain things and the general air of indifference and no interest in the guest seemed the standard overall. Price charged the same as a fine hotel in the city centre which was impeccable.

Absolutely shocking place! Room was 8c when I arrived, felt damp. Appreciate costs of running a hotel are high these days but surely it wouldn’t have hurt to turn the heating on before arrival. Christmas party was memorable for the wrong reasons. Failed to deliver on promises, food served without veg, vegetarians just served mash, half of my party left mid way through the evening as they were too cold. Management incredibly rude and unprofessional, staff were pleasant and helpful. This venue is clearly a money making machine, if you had to book a venue for a party or wedding I would steer clear. It would spoil what should be a memorable event.

Booked an overnight stay as a treat for my mum as we were going in to Cambridge to watch a show. The staff were lovely and very attentive and dinner and breakfast were both lovely. Plenty of parking on site and the spa although on the small side was clean and not overcrowded. The hotel itself is very charming, as is the grounds it sits on. We were fortunate to be upgraded to one of the rooms overlooking the garden with a four poster bed. A lovely view with both a large room and bathroom with everything you need. In general everything was clean although I did see a few cobwebs on the ceiling. Bed very comfy. Some of the furniture was a little dated but it’s definitely in keeping with the property and I think adds to the charm.
