OK. Nice renovations. Double deluxe bathroom has very little counter space and the smallest sink I have ever seen. Fairly clean. There we several long black hairs on one of the beds, under the covers. Makes me wonder if sheets were cleaned from the last guests. Surprised that this is a four star hotel given lack of amenities and so-so service. Didn't eat here so can't comment on that.

Every aspect, from the service and ambiance to the location, is truly impeccable. My dining experience at the Stonehouse Pub within the Carnegie House was nothing short of exceptional, with every detail exuding a sense of perfection. The exceptional service provided by Adele and Alana was truly amazing. Their attentiveness and warmth created a welcoming and enjoyable dining environment.

We stayed in the Premier King Room. The quality of this room far exceeds the cost of staying. The attention to detail, the bathroom fixtures and the room decor just decor speaks luxury. I was only going to stay 2 nights but added another night just to be able to relax from the daily hustle. Breakfast is complimentary, but not your typical breakfast. They offered Eggs Benedict and the Quiche. Specialty breakfast items that you only find at fine restaurants. The staff was just so friendly and helpful. I came to State College with my daughter for the Happy Volley Tournament and the other chain hotels were sold out with double. We will for sure come back.
