Carob Hostel is a fantastic place to stay with the best hosts! I stayed for a week and went on an organized group trip with them that included others. We had a lot of fun and it couldn't have been better organised. It’s also a great way to connect with other travellers. First time I had such a caring hostel which took care of so many things beyond the accommodation. Also the facilities are clean, the beds are comfortable and the rooftop terrace is a great place to enjoy drinks and company.

Carob Hostel is in a perfect location, just a few minutes walk to the downtown area of Amman and not too far of a drive from the Amman Citadel. The views from the rooftop of the hostel were incredible. We had a very good night's sleep during our stay at the hostel. It is also quite a good place to meet fellow travellers. The hostel provides options for breakfast, as well as pick up/drop off from the airport and WiFi dongle rental, all at a very good price. Thank you to everyone at Carob Hostel for making our stay enjoyable.

This is one of the best hostels that I've ever stayed. Great view, helpful staff. The communication was perfect all along. They even cooked us a NYE meal. This is the place to be when you are in Amman ☺️

I've been meaning to leave a review for an entire year now, but I really enjoyed my stay at this hostel because the owner (and chef, I believe?) was just incredibly friendly, hospitable, and helpful. Also, I'm from California but the vegan burger I had at the hostel restaurant is literally the BEST vegan burger I have ever had - so unexpected but such a great surprise. I did not explore the area nearby, but it was very convenient to have a restaurant on-site.
